LABRADORITE and PEARL Kumihimo Tassel Necklace Lariat

While in Tokyo I saw a gorgeous labradorite and silver pearl necklace in a department store. The combination of these gems were stunning and I stuck it into memory. This is my Kumihimo interpretation in a Kongh Gumi round braid with 8 strands strung with 6 mm labradorite beads, silver freshwater pearls, seed beads and Czech fire polished beads. The tassel is made of seed beads, crystals, firepolished beads, and tiny labradorite roundels and tear drops.
It measures 36" long with an 18" drop The long length is slenderizing and looks wonderful with a sweater or tunic. The labradorite is such a wardrobe friendly gemstone as it looks great with all shades of blue, greys and black.
The strong invisible magnetic clasp is embellished with peyote stitching.
