These new needles from Beadsmith are my new favorite Collapsible Eye Needle.
They are flexible yet firm enough to pick up beads without bending. Extra-spring wire is kink-resistant and has a specially designed eye that automatically collapses and instantly reshapes when it is pulled through the bead. The large eye is easy to thread and accommodates many sizes of cord. The 2 1/2" needles are great for seed bead projects.
Choose from 5 sizes;
Extra Fine -For beads and pearls and gemstones with very small holes
Fine - For Pearls, gemstones, and beads with small holes
Medium - Medium size is a good all purpose size, and will needle 8/0 and 11/0s with ease.
For some beads with smaller holes, Miyuki 11/0s especially, a little nudging over the doubled cord may be necessary at first until the cord compresses.
Heavy - Good for size 6/0 seed beads
Extra Heavy - The Extra Heavy ones are great for stringing heavier beads.
Once you try these needles you may never go back to the other type of big eye needle.
